The Wellness Recovery Action Plan® or WRAP®, is developed by you as an individual to fit your unique needs, lifestyle and goals. It is a prevention and wellness process that anyone can use to get well, stay well, grow and develop.
In 1997 a group of people searching for ways to overcome their own mental health issues, move on in life and fulfill their dreams and goals worked together and WRAP came out of the work.
It is now used extensively by people in all kinds of circumstances, by health care and mental health systems all over the world to address all kinds of physical health , mental health and life issues.
WRAP has been studied extensively in rigorous research projects and is listed in the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices in the US.
